“But Hannah, you’re not really going to stop at 50 are you?”

24 November 2024. Clowne Half Marathon. In . 02:01:11.

60th consecutive monthly half marathon. That’s 5 years of running at least a half, at least once. Every month 🏃🏻‍♀️🤪💪🏻

Also clocked 1000 miles ran so far this year. Now time for a roast!!

Great North Run 2024!

Total carnage at the start saw Jay and I get separated and have to jump the fences to get into the assembly area.

It rained. A lot. My feet squelched. I’ve actually never been so wet in clothes. But somehow Tyneside always seems to deliver.

A fitting PB for Jay, running in his mum’s memory, and I’m delighted with a sub 1:55 particularly on a tough course in appalling conditions.

Thank you for all the support. Over £1200 raised for two fantastic charities between us. That thought definitely kept me going when it was difficult. You are all wonderful xx

Anyone fancy a Great North Run place? This is my friend’s charity which supports families facing cancer diagnosis, treatment and bereavement, and funds research at the university of Sheffield. There is a £350 fundraising pledge but every penny goes to the charity which is ran entirely by volunteers.
I also still have a spare hotel room that I’ve not yet cancelled, so let me know if you fancy it!!

Edinburgh Marathon weekend will always feel special to me. My first marathon - achieving things that previously felt impossible. Actually I still can’t actually believe I did this, twice in four months.

Good luck to all running tomorrow, especially my friend Paul Verrico who should have completed this with me 2 years ago.

Good luck to all my friends who are taking on the London Marathon today - Amber McAuliffe and her dad, Mark Brassington, Paula Steeples and Amanda Rooke and to Laura Newman as number 1 support crew for Jenny Briddon. You’ve all trained so hard, overcome adversity and raised phenomenal amounts for charity. Enjoy your race today, there’s really nothing quite like it.

Good luck also to the unstoppable Paul Verrico running Zurich marathon today as part of his epic 10 in 10 challenge for Teamverrico take a look at www.10in10.co.uk

This beautiful spot is Lake Tahoe, on the California/Nevada border in the USA. It is 5,104 miles from home, which coincidentally is the same number of miles I ran from 10 December 2019 to 20 January 2024 - the first half marathon of my challenge to the 50th, including all the miles in between!

To everyone who supported me on this challenge, thank you so much! We raised a phenomenal amount of money for . I'm conscious that January is a loooooooong month, and so for those of you who were waiting for January pay day to donate, here is the link again: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/hannahruns2023

Massive thanks 🙏

50 half marathons in 50 months - complete! ✅🙌🏻

It was dark, cold, and windy, but I was treated to a beautiful sunrise and fabulous company from Joanna before meeting Amy, Katie and Hannah at Rushcliffe for my 100th parkrun. I was kinda apprehensive about this last night but really enjoyed it and finished my run buzzing 🤩

Thank you for all the support, kind words and donations. I am just £67 shy of raising £1500 for the amazing Diabetes UK (link is below). That money will do incredible things so my massive heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this fabulous total.

I will be spending the rest of today in my onesie eating my body weight in carbs and plotting my next challenge (come on, you didn’t think I’d actually stop at 50 did you?! 🤣)

PS if you are my mystery anonymous donor then thank you very much. I’d love to thank you personally but I don’t know who you are 😘
