Blidworth Bowls Club

Blidworth bowls club will be holding another open session on Sunday 31st May from 10am to 12pm for you to come and try your hand at lawn bowling. Equipment provided, please wear flat shoes. For any more information please message me.

Many congratulations to the clubs Pat Thornton on winning the EBF national ladies 4 bowl singles final and to Anne Pattern who took the runners up trophy with Janet Eames in the national ladies senior pairs. Both finals played at skegness this morning. You did the club and the county proud ladies, well done 👏👏

Two Blidworth ladies, Pat Thornton and Cath Smith along with Dianna Markham won the trips (rinks) final at Nottingham on Sunday and now go on to the national finals in Lincoln in April. Well done all 👏

Congratulations to Anne Pattern on a very successful weekend bowling at Nottingham indoor bowls club, through to four national finals to be held at Lincoln in April.

There's a busy morning at the green tomorrow (Monday 26th) with the semifinals of the club knockout for the Alan Wood trophy, Rob Stanfield playing Steve Dorn and Pat Thornton playing Cath Smith both at 10am.
Also at 10.30 Anne Pattern is playing Ashley Turton in the Ashfield senior singles final.
