Jinhaeng Taekwondo
We are a family run, community Taekwondo School and our main ethos and mantra is "progress" (Jinhaeng).
A brilliant day up in Harrogate on Saturday, bringing home 1x Gold and 2x Bronze medals.
We came away with things to work on for next time, but it is little tweaks and nothing major.
These 3 are such a big part of Jinhaeng Taekwondo.

Wow, what an incredible day at Ali's Dojang Open yesterday! It all kicked off with a delicious breakfast at McDonald's – the perfect fuel to get us ready for an action-packed day!
Once we arrived at the venue, it was time to warm up and get into the zone. Miss Eliza was first up, and with Miss Brooke as her amazing coach, she absolutely crushed it! She soared through the first round and snagged a fantastic second place. Her final was equally impressive, earning her a shiny silver medal!
Then came Miss Jasmine in her individual event. Despite a little hiccup with her Kihap, she regrouped like a champ, thanks to Miss Brooke's calming support, and took home a stunning Gold medal!
And let’s not forget Miss Brooke herself – she put on a solid performance, just missing the finals by a mere 0.02 points!
Finally, the day wrapped up with Jasmine excelling once again, this time in her team event, snagging yet another Gold medal!
What a day of triumphs and teamwork by these amazing young women!
It looks like I am out of a job as a coach now, so I will just be known as the taxi driver from now on.

Heads up, everyone
As you gear up to level up to 7th Kup (Green Tag), keep in mind that it’s time to invest in your WT sparring kit! This essential gear will transition you from non-contact to light contact sparring, and by the time you reach 4th Kup (Blue Belt), you'll be ready for full contact!
Your sparring kit will be your trusty companion for Kyorugi (sparring), one-step self-defense, and releases. With a little TLC, it can last for ages!
A complete kit runs about £160 (price can vary based on size), and you can snag one from us (we're rocking the Tusah brand) or feel free to shop around. Just make sure it sports that important World Taekwondo logo!
Are you excited about this next step in your Taekwondo journey? Let's get sparring!
