We would like to say a big thank you to all the pipe fitters and plumbers up and down the country, in roof spaces and under floors working to keep the taps running the heating on and the toilets flushing during this difficult time.

I've had worse views commuting to and from work.

Over the next week I'm going to try and post the pictures that have built up over the last month. We have been a bit too busy to post.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for us, up to Blackburn and Leeds and down to Plymouth and London, with jobs seemingly everywhere between.
We also came across some freezes we did at least 20 years ago.
Whilst that may sound like a long time as of next year we will have been freezing pipes for 30 years!

Another unusual freeze, we had to carry it on a 6" leg to allow the old valve to be removed.

Our client needed to replace the valve sets on a district heating system, the 16" mains needed to stay running at 110 °C and full pressure. We froze the two legs and held whilst the old valves were cut out and the new valves welded in.

This is one of the more challenging freezes we have done lately, 3" tee reducing down to 2".

Saw this while stuck in traffic on the way into Sheffield, if only I could!

You can't beat a good breakfast, and there aren't many better than a Sos sandwich from the Mill cafe.

I can't show what we were shrink fitting, but here are at couple of photos of the loco at the side of us in the workshop,
