Sherwood Forest Fishery Situated 4 miles North East of Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. A mixed fishery catering for all angling Thank you. No Boilies,Nuts,Beans or Peas.

How to get there
Take the A60 out of Mansfield north bound, join the A6075 after 3mile turn right at the mini roundabouts and after 200m turn right into the farm lane then follow the sings to the fishery. aprox 1mile

Fishery Rules

ALL KEEPNETS, LANDING NETS MUST BE DRIED BEFORE FISHING ON THE BANK BEHIND YOU. This is to prevent the spread of KHV (Koi Herpes Virus) to our fishery. Nets can be put in water 15 minutes prior to the match starting. No Meat Based Pet Foods. No Feeding of floating Baits. Fishery feed pellets only.

⁸All feeder and bomb rigs must be free running and not fixed. Fishing is permitted from designated pegs/platforms only

The angler must not leave their peg unattended whilst fishing. Barbless hooks only MAX Size 12. No Braid of any kind. No fishing without a landing net or Disgorger. No carp to be kept in Keepnets except in permitted matches only. Keepnets allowed on Sherwood Lake, Cavendish lake only with the permission from the bailiff. No more than 60lb in each net. No fish to be taken away from the fishery. No unaccompanied children under the age of 16 will be allowed to fish. Opening times 7 am until time marked on the match board. (8am in winter)

No night Fishing. All litter must be taken away. Sherwood Fishery will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage or theft of anglers property. And anyone found breaking the rules will be asked to leave. The decision of the Bailiff is final

Andy was happy at the draw and decided to fish straight out at 11m on the deck fishing hard 6mm pellet. Tried down his edge but couldn't get anything going so went back on his 11m line 👌

All matches will be run to the following times:
Draw 8:45
Fish 10:00 - 15:00

The results will be calculated on section points with 1st in section getting 1 point etc and at the end of the league if there is a points draw it will automatically go to weight count back.

Each anglers is allowed to have 2 stand ins and there will also be 2 droppers so the best 8 results count.
