We caught up with her to find out why she loves teaching babyballet—and it’s as heartwarming as it sounds! 💛

💃 Why she became a babyballet teacher:
“Being a babyballet teacher is my dream job! I love to dance and have worked with children for over 20 years. Finding a role that combines the two? Absolutely the best thing in my career!”

✨ Certificate Week Round-Up ✨

What a magical way we ended the term 💖

We loved celebrating all of our wonderful little stars last week as they received their certificates 🌟 The smiles, confidence, and pure joy were so special to see — we couldn’t have been prouder of each and every one of them!

From twirls to tiptoes, they all worked so hard throughout the term and it truly showed 🩰

A huge well done to all our dancers — you were amazing! 👏

We hope you all had a lovely break and we can’t wait to welcome you back next term for more dancing fun 💕

We’ve had the most magical start to our certificate week so far! 💖

✨ Take 2 minutes to get to know Miss Leah…

Why did I start babyballet?

I wanted to do something I was truly passionate about. I felt stuck in a job I didn’t enjoy, and dance had always held a special place in my heart. When a good friend told me about babyballet, it felt like a no-brainer — it combined dance, creativity, working with children and being my own boss, which was everything I wanted.

Over 7 years later (after launching in January 2019), I still love it just as much.

My favourite part will always be teaching the classes.
Seeing my little stars every week, watching their confidence grow, and sharing those special moments between grown-up and child is the best feeling 💫

I’ll admit… I get emotional sometimes (my grown-ups will know this!) —
whether it’s a child mastering their skips, coming into class on their own for the first time, or show day when I see them all shining on stage. I feel like a proud mother hen of them all 🩰✨

Some of my proudest babyballet moments have been:
✨ Launching our SHINE classes
✨ Creating our SEND-exclusive programme
✨ Putting on our dance shows in 2023 & 2025

Every class, every little dancer, and every family reminds me why I love what I do 💗
