24 hour row‼️
This weekend (9th-10th December) we will be rowing for 24 hours to raise money for our sponsoring charity Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre.
They are an incredible charity who have helped us, so now is time to give back!

UoNBC Tiger Ball 2023 💃🏼
That time of year to get out your best frock & suit up for a night of awards, food, and dancing is fast approaching

Tiger Ball will take place on 4th February 2023 at Goosedale
•
Tickets will be out in the next week with deals for alumni and plus ones - ticket price includes transport two and from the venue, a meal and wine🧃

Wallingford Head 2022🚣🏻♂️
After a morning of races from the first division, the second division was unfortunately cancelled due to increased stream speeds. However, there were great performances from all crews despite tough conditions, results are as follows:
Op8+ Band 2 (Crew 23) – 2nd
Op8+ Band 2 (Crew 27) – 5th
Op8+ Band 3 (Crew 30) – 2nd
W4+ (Crew 260) – 4th

* Coaching qualification or significant experience in both sweep and sculling required, and hold appropriate insurance
Volunteer Coaches
* We are currently seeking volunteer coaches for the 2022/23 season to support the programme led by our Head of Rowing across all levels of the club
* We will endeavour to match experience and aims with opportunities at the club

Overview: Handles queries from those interested in joining the club and helps with their transition into our squads through the organisation of pre-season camp

Role: Alumni Liaison Officer
Overview: Responsible for maintaining club connections with those who’s time at the club has come to an end but who are still very much a part of the UoNBC community

Role: Social Secretary
Overview: responsible for organising of club social events - the go-to man when it comes to a Crisis Wednesday and post training BBQs

TESSA WILLIAMS
Role: Press Officer
Overview: tasked with upkeep of the social media pages, keeping members past and present up to date with events and races whilst providing interesting content for people to enjoy!

Highlight: Evening rows on the Trent in the summer🌞
LULU HAMBERGER
Role: Welfare Officer
Overview: oversees the general welfare of the clubs athletes, acting as a point of contact for rowers to raise any welfare concerns, and also to provide material to assist those who prefer to seek help elsewhere

Overview: Responsible for the maintenance of our fleet and boathouse, acting as a point of contact for those with any issues regarding equipment

Highlight: Stepping up to cox for the first time during what turned out to be a storm (it was an experience to say the least)

Role: Secretary
Overview: a key component of the behind-the-scenes action prior to our crews taking to the water, Charlotte will oversee the entry of our crews into races and also the running of committee meetings
