Thurs: The Place Activity Centre, 2A Melrose St 8:30pm Weekly RockFit classes:

Mon 7:45 - 8:45pm @ Mapperley Plains Recreation & Social Club (Annexe around the back), Nottingham. Alternative / Rock / Metal anthems to high-octane cardio routines. It's awesome, you should totally come along! £6 per class (under 16's half-price - requires accompanying adult), and your first class is free. :-) Option to get a 5-classes-for-£25 stamp card, also!

Last week it was light when class began and this week it was dark - the season has truly turned! 🍂

Possibly my favourite RockFit origin story from Jan and Attracta who joined us for the first time this evening after Jan heard our good vibes from the street and was compelled to enquire as to what it's all about...

Goes to show, sometimes you just need to follow your ears! 🤘

What a great class we had today, banishing the drizzle and chill with fire and sweat! 🔥

That concludes the 4th consecutive class for me this week - now to rest up and prepare for Rock City, where class #264 is due to take place this Sunday.

We've smashed through £3.3K on the JustGiving campaign for Rainbows Children's Hospice now. It's going to help them do so much vital work and I couldn't be prouder of you all!

Also super-proud of Lucy Argyle hitting that 25 class purple badge! Welcome to the Quasi-Centurion club! 💜 It's really heartening to see how much of an appetite for these classes you awesome rock warriors have! 🤘

For such a popular and widely-used platform that is truly, undeniably EPIC! 🤘

Secondly - Accounting for Gift Aid, we have just crept over the £3K for a current total of £3,023.50 - like, holy Hells that's a great amount for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

4 days left to go, and even then the fundraiser will remain open for a limited time afterwards. Let's see how far we can push this!

'The One With the Supply Teacher'

Had the great honour of covering RockFit with Nane 's class this evening!

And I delivered a cheeky sneak peek into the epic offerings for this Sunday's Rockathon III at Rock City. It all went rather bloody well!

Nane will be returning the favour by covering my Thursday class in Sherwood next week, so between us we are doing what we can to maintain your regular weekly rockin' routine! 🤘

As you can see here we are indulging in some post-class voguing and looking fabulous doing it!
