Throwback to when we hosted The Brabazon Trophy for a record sixth time in 2024, welcoming a field of exceptional amateurs to our course.

Today marks ten years since the passing of Christy O'Connor Snr. We remember one of the finest Irish golfers of his generation and his historic victory at Hollinwell. In September 1970, he navigated our course to defeat a high quality field at the John Player Classic. In doing so, he claimed the £25,000 first prize, which stood as the richest in world golf at the time.

A huge thank you to Shaun and his brilliant team who keep our course true to its heathland character: firm, fast and in top condition all year round. We're grateful for everything you do.

We are pleased to welcome our new Captain, Michael Hanson.

His appointment comes 101 years after his great-grandfather held the very same position. It is a wonderful continuation of a family legacy deeply tied to Notts Golf Club, and we wish Michael a very successful year ahead.

What a weekend for our attached Pros!

Alex Fitzpatrick teamed up with Matt to win the Zurich Classic, securing his PGA Tour card for the next two seasons, while Esme Hamilton claimed her first LET title at the Investec SA Women’s Open.

A huge congratulations to both on these breakthrough wins. Everyone at the club is incredibly proud and looking forward to following the rest of your seasons.
