Bracha Music BRACHA MUSIC: COMMUNITY SINGING FOR ALL
My choirs are accessible to all. The emphasis is on fun, community and the occasional challenge!
The community choirs are non-auditioned and, whilst we do use sheet music, there is no requirement to read music. Learning tracks are supplied for all the pieces we learn, so you can listen to your part and learn by ear. We strive to be the best we can be without getting too stressed about it! If you're coming to the And Breathe workshop on Saturday here is a reminder of what to expect:
We start at 2pm at Ruddington Methodist Church, 8 Charles St, Ruddington, Nottingham NG11 6EF.
The Ruddington Village Market will be running from 9am to 2pm so we’d recommend arriving early to browse the stalls and/or enjoy lunch before the workshop.
There is a car park behind the Medical centre – right opposite the church – plus street parking but, as it’s likely to be busy, you might want to consider car sharing or public transport.
Elizabeth suggests that you wear comfortable clothes as it’s an interactive workshop. We will be serving refreshments but please bring a bottle of water as it could be thirsty work!
There is no charge for this workshop, but donations are invited for CityHubUkraine based at the City Hospital. https://www.facebook.com/groups/539305517842087/
Ann Vickers (who will be joining us on Saturday) and the team have sent over 40 lorries direct to contacts in Ukraine, and collect everything from medical supplies and equipment, warm clothing, sleeping bags, torches, hospital beds, generators, ambulances and other vehicles. Food, furniture and other items are distributed to refugees living locally in Nottingham.

Nottingham based choir leaders here’s the first publicity for the National Water Day Choir Festival at Binks Yard. Hope you can bring your choirs for a massed Tuneless Choir. We’re on from 3.45 to 4.15 singing water based songs.
