It won’t be long until we are off on another adventure. This time we are doing things a little differently with our fundraising. We are asking that if people would like to donate. They just head straight to the website and donate directly to them. This way we can ensure 100% of the money goes to this amazing charity. Please take the time to take a look at their socials to find out more about the great work they do.

We can now reveal the dates for our Peaky Minders 2.0 challenge. If you’re interested in taking part. Please get in touch. You can do as much or as little as you’re able to do. Last year we had really good numbers for the climbs. If this is something you fancy having a go at and setting your personal goals towards. You’ve loads of time to get the training in. If you’re interested in doing some cycling. You can select certain days or do all of it. Our goal is to raise £50000 for our event is self funded. All we ask is that you do your bit to drum up sponsorship. We have guides for the climbs, support cars for the riding. A bike mechanic who even provides ebikes for when the hills get steep. We will be following a similar route to 2019. Our event is not a race. Average pace is 13/15mph. We will hopefully stay in the same hostels and caravan parks, as we found some great locations previously.
Tshirts and cycling jerseys will be coming soon. We need to know sizes amd participant numbers before we order them.

Today was the annual ride. Sadly unable to go ahead last year due to covid. It’s been long over due to do this ride again. Cycling is great for fitness but also for your mental health. When you’re riding off-road all your attention and focus has to be on what your doing. Plus you get to meet some great people along the way. These two riders had an amazing ride out. The course was wet slippy and muddy but the sun shone bright. We will be holding Peaky minders group rides in a few months. If you’d like to get involved keep an eye on our page.

Who’s starting to get the miles in? If you’re new to cycling start slowly. Just do 5-10 miles. Stay local to where you live and take it easy on the ride. Build up your strength and stamina over the weeks and months. Don’t just go off and ride 60 miles with your fitter mates. That will only result in you calling your wife or husband for a lift home. Talking of lifts. Our trip is fully supported with a back up crew. Should you get tired on one of the legs you can jump in the car and have a rest. We even bring spare ebikes. Provided by we try to think of everything to make this trip as enjoyable as possible for all participants.
