🥋 COACHING STAFF 24/25🥋

We’re thrilled to have Ashley, an alum, as our head coach—this club wouldn't be where it is without him.

We're also excited to have Anastasia, another alum, as our competition coach, guiding us through every event.

🥋WORLD TAEKWONDO COMMITTEE 24/25🥋

08/10/2021

The NTU WT Taekwondo (World Taekwondo) Club is a Taekwondo club based at Clifton Campus.

Our training sessions are:
Tuesdays - 19:00-21:00
@ NTU Tennis Centre, Clifton campus

Thursday - 18:00-20:00
@ The dance studio in Lee Westwood Sports Centre, Clifton campus

We are part of the larger Kang Han family, led by Grand Master Ian Lennox [8th Dan], which allows our students to also train at Kang Han centres and benefit from many different instructors.

All session are a mix of applied Taekwondo, which consists of fitness, stretching, kicking drills and self defence.
These applied sessions are designed to appeal to both beginners and experienced Taekwondo practitioners, along with those who practice other martial arts who are looking for extra training time.
As well as this, we look at techniques needed for grading and sparring. This consists of patterns, breaking, sports fighting, more intense fittness and other areas of Taekwondo to allow improvment towards your next grading or competition.
