Australian Neil Robertson defeated China's Pang Junxu 10-6 last night to ensure a Crucible record-equalling 15 seeded players won their first-round matches at the 2026 World Championship!

Defending champ Zhao Xintong, world No.1 Judd Trump, and former champions, Ronnie O’Sullivan, John Higgins, Kyren Wilson and Mark Williams have all safely negotiated the first round.
Chris Wakelin is through, beating Liam Pullen 10–6, and Mark Selby is in dominant form, leading Jak Jones 7–2 with the evening session still to come tonight.
