Netherfield Boys/Seniors FC

Unfortunately the day has come to disband our community football club. Netherfield FC have been bringing Football and sports to the community since 1997. We would like to thank the hundreds of players, parents, the managers and coaches for everything we made our club for the past 25 years. It's been a pleasure and I will miss you all. Over and out!! 💔

Hi all. This is the main club page but individual teams have thier own pages for team/match/training information etc. All closed groups and you can only join if you're a parent of one of the players for that team. Just search 'Netherfield Boys FC u?' whatever age group/colour team it is. Thanks

CLUB STATEMENT

Many of you will be aware of the appalling behaviour of a youth coach at Crew Alexandra FC which is being highlighted by the media at the moment.

I think it's very important that children and parents have the upmost trust in the club they attend and the coaches who are trusted with their care whilst playing the sport. I would like to give you my assurances as club welfare officer that, No child will be left alone, taken to a room alone or driven home or to a match alone with Any Club Staff. All coaches hold up to date DBS clearence certificates and never run training sessions without another coach, parent, carer being close by. The club will always be vigilant where child welfare is concerned. My door is always open if you have any concerns.

I always say, "if you have a feeling something is wrong, as a parent,you are normally right so report it". Our club has had it's whole 20 years running incident free but we will never drop our guard when it comes to your children.

Hi all.
Just a reminder that it's Robin Hood Marathon in Nottingham today so some Road closures. Most of our club players are local but if you are travelling through notts leave in plenty of time.

Also, we are doing food again in the kitchen (still as a trial) so breakfast served from 10am ish. (thanks Jo Balchin for her amazing help

CONGRATULATIONS to u11s sunday winning the league trophy yesterday vs Ilkeston Town. 1-1 full time. Won 3-2 in extra time. Excellent day wonderful game of football and well done Ty for getting man of the match voted for by the officials.
