Set in a small village called Keyworth in South Nottinghamshire on Platt Lane on the out skirts of the village in a nice surroundings.
Built around 2001 by Bendcrete in the early days on the next generation concrete skateparks with the funding gain by a proactive set of parents, young people, and children. The skateparks is made up of Bendcretes prefabricated concrete ramp sections that were dropped in place in a standard layout for the period.

Unfortunately a group of people have been drinking alcohol recently at your skatepark and left cans and glass bottle laying about carelessly. Over 10 bottles were smashed on the skatepark concrete, leaving sharp glass chards scattered over a wide area. One outcome of this, possibly some skatepark users without thought thrown some sizable sharp glass chards into the grass to clear the skate surface. As we know glass doesn't dissolve and remains sharp and dangerous, then scattered again by the lawn mower if left. If you see glass bottles or pieces of glass please safely place in the bins. It's always worth having a dustpan and brush if you travel by car to your park. Please keep respecting this great skatepark. It takes a long time for someone to clear up someone else's careless dangerous mess (now done).

Great weather for removing the flood residue off our concrete surface with brushes. Many thanks D.M for tonight with the major sweeping mission in the heavy rain.
Again, many thanks for D.M clearing out the stream grate and to the young riders and parents last Sunday that scrapped and brushed the mud and leaves up after the flood. Then bagged all the waste.
Brilliant skatepark community effort. πππππππ We are always looking for users to help out and give a little back.

Slappy Curb - Just a suggestion from a few users, only a distant idea for now and want to gain opinions from all user types of the skatepark to see if this idea is worth considering further. Installing a quality slappy curb in the approx. location as roughly marked on the photos below, a different type to the other curb at the park. 2-3m long, considering riding lines and secured to the floor to prevent walkies into the stream.

Hi, is anyone free and willing to help out over the weekend to assist in drilling and securing the new steel 50mm x 50mm angle lengths on the timber sleepers as an extra feature. Or one night next week. Please PM if you can help out.
Hi, we hope you've enjoyed your extended skatepark with the new features, over this long warm Easter weekend. It's great to see nearly everyone has managed to use the litter bin too, most appreciated.
There will be an official Opening Jam soon and we will let you know the date.
