We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Level 2 (or higher) British Gymnastics qualified coach to join our team on a full-time basis!

💪 35 hours per week

We’re proud to be supporting Freedom 4 Girls alongside Active Derbyshire, Derbyshire Teen Health, British Gymnastics and SheLeaps Female Health Hub to open up conversations around periods, menstruation, body literacy and performance in gymnastics. 🤸‍♀️✨
We have two workshops taking place at our Ilkeston site on Monday 21st September 2026:
⭐️Young People Workshop
🕕 6–7pm
👧 For young gymnasts
💬 A safe space to understand our bodies and how periods and menstruation can affect performance.
⭐️Parents/Carers Workshop
🕖 7–8pm
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open to male and female parents/carers
💬 Learn how to better understand and support young gymnasts through conversations around periods, menstruation and performance.
Our aim is to break down barriers, remove stigma and create an environment where open conversations can happen.
We’d love to see as many of our gymnastics families as possible there!

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – HEAT
Due to the rising temperatures in the gym, we have made the following changes to today’s sessions:
❌ Recreational & Pre-School sessions are CANCELLED.
⏰ Squad & Advanced sessions will go ahead but will FINISH AT 6:15PM today.
💧 We have multiple fans operating throughout the gym, are reducing session intensity and increasing hydration breaks to help keep our gymnasts safe and comfortable.
Please ensure gymnasts arrive with plenty of water and refrain from attending if they are unwell or unlikely to cope with the heat.
💙 Gymnast safety is always our priority.

We are still open today, but with some extra measures in place to help keep our gymnasts safe and comfortable in the heat. 💙

💧 Please make sure your gymnast arrives with plenty of water/drinks to stay hydrated throughout their session.

🌬️ Multiple fans are being used around the gym
🤸 Sessions will be less intense
💦 We will have more frequent hydration breaks

Please do not bring your gymnast to their session if they are unwell or you feel they are unlikely to cope with the heat. Their health and safety will always be our top priority. ❤️

🚨 ALL PRESCHOOL SESSIONS TODAY ARE CANCELLED due to the heat.
