Yesterday, we was at the East Midlands 4 piece competition with our platinum and Sapphire girls. This is very high standard gymnastics . Somi dismount, shaped and twisting somersaults, etc. This is precise gymnastics. Everything and anything is deductible, height, lack of tuck, split shown, steps out of moves, to name a few

Once again, we held our own, got called up many times for top 3 finishes, and managed multiple 1st place apparatus placing as well as overall top 3 finishes. Absolutely amazing ladies,

Are you aged 13+ and passionate about gymnastics (lots of our members should have their hands up) then we may have a great opportunity for your to not only gain gymnastics coaching /helping experience but also life skills, such as confidence building, communication skills, and ability to adapt body language, tones etc to meet specific needs/ages.

Phoenixwood Gymnastics Clubs trainee coaches gain hands on experience supporting our members from 4-16 alongside our qualified coaches, while developing you into a passionate, caring and high quality leader/helper

Its been a very long but rewarding day at the East Midlands 4 piece championships. From our little 6/7 year olds in the morning to our boys group, all the way through our new gymnasts doing advanced, to our older advanced girls you all did amazing.
Far to many personal achievements to write about from having the confidence to perform in front of people, to managing to stay on the beam, to performing brand new skills!! We couldn't be prouder.

As you can see from the pretty things, we did very well!!

MANY MANY CALL UPS for top apparatus finishes, including lots of top 3, as well as gaining a new regional champion.

Gymnasts will perform a floor, vault and maybe and beam/P bar routine, in which will be appropriate to the age and ability of the gymnast.
It’s a great opportunity for ALL gymnasts to have the ‘feel’ of a competition, but in an environment with all of their training friends, as well as, for some (being their first competition experience) gaining confidence and self esteem by performing in front of their peers, other gymnasts, and an audience for the first time, in this fun club competition.
This opportunity is open to EVERYONE in the club from beginners through to our Regional gymnasts. Different Routines will be designed appropriately to meet the demands of the levels of ability within the club.
All gymnasts will get an award of sort (most likely a lovely rosette or medal) for participation, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing will be announced for each group
No purchase of our club leotard is required to enter the competition.
Entry Fee is £16.00 per gymnasts paid via your event registration. if you require more than one child registering please register one person, then email me with your other child information please, so i can do it manually my end. Entry is requested/taken automatically on entry, so nice and easy.
There will be a small Fee of around £4.00 per adult to enter on the competition day, which is a CASH payment on the day. Children under the age of 14 are free. Refreshments and a raffle will also be available on the day.
