We are a friendly, lively, and growing club who welcome all abilities, from complete beginners to international players! We have two teams that compete in BUCS Wednesdays against other Midlands universities. Training is three times per week during term time at David Ross Sports Village. Monday 7-8:30am, Tuesday 4:00-5:30pm, Friday 5-6:30pm. Most importantly, we are a family and support each other

University Rugby Awards 2026🌹

The awards celebrate University students, staff and volunteers who keep the English university rugby game thriving!
We are very proud of our two winners Tim and Char🏆

Tim is our Head coach and a very special person. UoNWRFC’s success this season is a testament to all his hard work and the environment he’s worked tirelessly to create and sustain.

Char has been a key 1xv player for the past 3 years and this year has been Rugby Minds Ambassador. Rugby Minds is a campaign created to tackle difficult topics and to improve culture of student rugby. Char has worked hard to make rugby at UoN a better place and always finds a way to make everyone feel included.

Huge congratulations to 7 of our girls involved in Leicester U23 fixture vs Sale Sharks U23 🐯✨

The girls came away with a 34-22 win away in Sale with current 1xv Captain Lou also leading out the Tigers side🏆

A massive success for the programs 1st ever fixture and a highlight for our first year as part of the pathway 🐾
