Final Royal Ballet School Senior Associate class in Birmingham, and an exciting next step ahead as in September Sofia begins the Advanced Associates programme at the Royal Ballet Upper School in Covent Garden, London.

An amazing night watching ‘Still Pointless’ BalletBoyz 25th anniversary performance, here in Nottingham at the Playhouse. So very proud of Seirian! Loved it all, 10 amazing dancers, wonderful programme, enjoyed watching the highlights of the past 25 years and Seirian’s new work Motor Cortex. Congratulations Seirian! Lovely to be there with GBS teachers and also to see many students and parents, past and present, in the audience too. Memorable night and full circle moment for Seirian who first watched BalletBoyz here at the Nottingham Playhouse as a young boy at Gedling Ballet School.

Seirian is performing tonight with BalletBoyz here in Nottingham at the Playhouse. Reminder classes will finish at 6pm this evening. Good luck Seirian we are all so looking forward to seeing you, many memories of you performing here at the playhouse as a GBS student.

Good luck to Finley for performances this week with Encore Dance Company, and to Seirian as dancer and choreographer with BalletBoyz at Sadler’s Well followed by UK tour. Congratulations to Sofia, continuing her journey with the Royal Ballet School as an Advanced Associate attending classes at Upper School!

Well done, to the students that took part in ‘Next Door Dance’ Easter Course plus Performance at Catapult Dance Festival, and Elmhurst x Wayne McGregor Spring Residential Course. Congratulations to the students that auditioned for English Youth Ballet, they will be performing in Swan Lake this summer at the Theatre Royal. And, well done everyone for this term’s RAD exam results!!

Seirian is in this as dancer and choreographer!! Classes will finish by 6pm Tuesday 2nd June so students and teachers have the opportunity to attend. Full tour dates are on BalletBoyz website.
