Midfielder Curtis Durose spoke after completing his move to Grange Park;
π£οΈβI'm delighted to be on board at this club. I have always liked the style of play and wanted to be a part of it. After mine and the gafferβs first conversation it was a no brainer for me, with the beliefs we share and the aims for the season and the future for the club.
I canβt wait for the season to start and help this club get it to where it belongsβππ€

We can confirm the departure of defender Owen Betts.
Owen, a hugely popular player at the club, both on and off the pitch, joined us in February 2024, making his debut against Alvechurch during our season in step 3, and went on to be a virtual ever-present during his 2-and-a-half years at Grange Park, clocking up a total of 96 appearances, contributing 10 goals.
His final appearance for The Blues was against his former club Basford United on 25th April, where afterwards he was presented with our 'Supporters Player Of The Season Award', underlining his popularity at Grange Park.
A consistent, dependable and talented performer for us, we thank Owen for all his dedication and professionalism whilst representing Long Eaton United FC, and we wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his career.
Thank you, Owen π

Manager Brad Munn spoke on the news that James Taylor has been rewarded with a 2026/27 contract...
βI think this signing is one that says a few things. It shows that hard work, dedication to your craft & ability does get its rewards. It also shows that loyalty doesnβt get taken for granted at our football club and JT deserves this and has earned everything he gets at this place.
He came through the door 2 years ago wanting the opportunity to play and prove himself at step 4 and heβs gone over and above that and became a constant figure in our side and also a top performer.
He is only going to go from strength to strength each season and Iβm so pleased that he wants to commit his future to the football club.
Well done to JT and probably one of the most deserved deals to have been given in football.β π

We are delighted to announce that James Taylor has signed a contract at the club ahead of the 2026/27 season π€
πJT progressed through our junior and academy setup, and made his first team debut back in November 2019 at just 16 years-old, and has since clocked up a total of 165 first team appearances, scoring 29 goals. He was an ever-present in our side last term - the only player to represent us in each of our 47 league and cup games.
π£οΈTaylor added "This is a really proud moment for myself signing a contract with a club Iβve been part of since youth level. Coming through the different age groups and captaining the side in the FA Youth Cup, Iβve seen first hand how much this club has progressed both on and off the pitch."
