Well, well, well… looks like home advantage actually exists. Bailey came in hot on his own turf and secured the W like he built the course himself. Rumor has it he was born on the 18th green. 42 points shot🏆

Runner-up went to none other than our resident handicap illusionist – Iain “The Bandit” – whose swing continues to defy mathematics and probability.

Closest to the Pin was tighter than JP’s pants after a Sunday roast — so tight, in fact, we had to get third party verification with a tape measure and a PhD in millimetres. After lengthy VAR-style deliberations… it was officially a TIE. Call it diplomacy. Call it laziness. Either way, no one’s sleeping peacefully.

On to the next round. The drama continues. The banter gets louder. And the handicaps? More suspicious by the week. ⛳️😂

Can Jack Henchliffe improve on his last round? Rumour has it he’s been spotted at the range so often, the staff are calling him “resident pro.” Sources (unverified) claim he’s even been seen practicing his celebration for a top three finish.

Money’s being placed. Confidence is rising. And Jack? He’s just trying not to triple-bogey the first hole again.

The count down is on 🏌️‍♂️Before the inaugural BAGG Society Golf match, a few of our members hit the course this weekend shaking off the rust and dialing in the swings.

🎥 check out this clip of our members first Tee off, they didn’t improve much from here.. if this round is anything to go by, the big match is going to be one to remember.

John Porthouse got the round under way with a typical semi slice, Dan Ellis then followed with a consistent drive just finding the edge of the fair way, Iain Lewis finishes up with his only drive on the day hitting fairway.

Plenty to improve on, not much time.
