After two memorable and successful seasons, Head Coach Vladan Dragosavac has agreed by mutual consent to step away from his role with the Nottingham Hoods.
Vladan played a major role in shaping the culture, standards, and identity of the BCB programme, helping drive the Hoods forward both on and off the court. His leadership, professionalism, and commitment to player development will leave a lasting impact on the club.
The past two seasons brought significant progress across all areas of the BCB Programme — not only in results and performances, but also in the development of a professional performance environment designed to help athletes reach their full potential.

Announcement: Russell Levenston Departure from Nottingham Hoods

“After two seasons with Nottingham Hoods, I have made the decision to step away from my role as I look to find a better work/life balance for my young family and take on a new challenge at this stage of my life.

This has not been an easy decision, as my time with the Hoods has been incredibly rewarding. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the players, staff, and volunteers for their commitment, energy, and belief in the vision to transform the club. Together, I truly believe we have made significant progress and laid strong foundations for the future.

A sincere thank you also goes to our sponsors for their ongoing support. It has been instrumental in helping drive the club forward. And finally, to the fans, your passion, loyalty, and backing have made a real difference and helped create something special around the team.

I’m proud to be leaving the club in a strong position, having worked alongside an incredible staff team and dedicated volunteers to help establish Hoods HQ at Mapperley Sports Village, to transforming the game-day experience at Harvey Hadden, to finishing 5th in the British Championship Basketball League in our first season, and building a strong partnership with the University of Nottingham these are all milestones that reflect the hard work, dedication, and solid foundations now in place for the future of the club.

I look forward to seeing the club continue to grow and succeed in the years to come.
