What a great evening we had at ETCC last night for our inter-club mixed game 🏏

A huge thank you to the lovely ladies at Codnor Cricket Club and HCWS CC for joining us at our softball festival today. It was wonderful to welcome you all to our club and enjoy a brilliant afternoon of fun and cricket 🏏 🥂

The 1st Xl are back playing at home today, with the 2nd Xl away at Keyworth. As always the bar will be open 🍻🏏

A few performances from the weekend deserve a special mention...

Although our 1st XI were unfortunate not to come away with the win at Kirkby Portland on Saturday, there were some outstanding individual batting performances. Mirza, who joined the club earlier this year, continued his incredible start by smashing 108 off just 59 balls.

Another new addition to the 1st XI continued her impressive start with another fine all-round performance. Lauren Tuffrey, who made history the previous week as the first female to represent our 1st X1, continued her excellent form by taking two wickets and adding a valuable 20 runs.

Our 2nd XI welcomed u15 junior Ethan Cross for his senior debut. Ethan impressed with the ball, returning excellent bowling figures and claiming his first senior wicket - hopefully the first of many!

And finally, congratulations to Izzy Burrell who starred for our Spondon & Eastwood Women's 2nd XI in Sunday's home fixture against Collingham. Izzy finished unbeaten on 81* setting a new record for the highest individual score by a female ETCC player.
