We are open today, Wednesday, 29th July, from approximately 11 am to 3 pm. Our indoor layouts Ruddington, Sodor, and Millhouse Lane will be operating, and our second hand sales cabinet will be available on request. Unfortunately, it will be too warm to run our outside loops on Sunday.
Entry to the Model Railway clubrooms is free, but we welcome cash and contactless donations.
Also, we will be selling tickets for our Flying Scotsman Raffle, to win a Hornby Flying Scotsman set. Tickets are £2 each - if you buy a book of 5, you'll get a free RMRC key ring.
The GCR(N) are running a DMU service to Rushcliffe Halt.

Don’t forget, it’s our annual Bus Rally and Running Day this Sunday, 26thJuly.

Pop along and view the vehicles from a bygone era and even take a trip on some of them too.

We are hoping in excess of a dozen visiting buses will join those already housed at the Heritage Centre.

All our other usual attractions will be open including The Heritage Cafe and both the model and miniature trains will be in operation.

Parking will be available at our neighbours, Vision Express as we don’t want a mix of parked cars and moving buses on site.

To encourage more visitors to experience what the Heritage Centre has to offer, access to this years event will be by gate donation and not a fixed price so please give generously.

Also on Saturday, Nottingham City Transport are celebrating the centenary of the South Notts Bus Company, with preserved buses on the Nottingham to Loughborough route, visiting the NTHC.

It's the NTHC Ruddington - Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre's Mind.the Gap weekend, with steam trains running to Loughborough, and buses going to Rushcliffe Halt, and from Rushcliffe to Quorn on the Great Central. There will be an admission fee to the site of £36 (buy one get one free, kids for £1),.which will get you access to train and bus services,.and to trains on the HCR.
