A fantastic way to end our senior men’s tour to Manchester. While recovering from a great day with Eccles RFC a few of the lads went on a city tour by Stephen and his cat Angel. Stephen is a tour guide for Invisible Cities , a social enterprise business who help people out of homelessness by teaching them how to give walking tours of the city they live in. Stephen was fantastic, full of knowledge and with an inspiring attitude to overcoming adversity.
Then in the afternoon we watched The Sale Sharks play Leicester Tigersand caught up with our old mate Joe Hayes.

Fantatsic afternoon at Eccles RFC for our men’s tour game. Starting with a minute’s silence in memory of Heather Sarno, the game was played in true touring spirit, ending 67-36 with plenty of free flowing expansive ‘tour rugby’ to entertain the 300+ crowd.
We have raised over £1200 for Safe Families UK and Emmanuel House in Nottingham.
Thank you Eccles for hosting us, close family ties reinforced and new friendships formed. What a day!

Our senior men stopped at Stoke-on-Trent Rugby Club enroute to Manchester for lunch and refreshment. Thanks Stoke for hosting us, great to put our money behind another grassroots club’s bar.
