Our new bookcase is filling up! Thanks to all who have donated, and to Jennifer Sinclair for the artwork.

Hoping to see many of you at the Tea House this Saturday afternoon, supporting our new community hub.

Don't forget, if you can't show your support in person, we are still trying hard to raise funds via our Go Fund Me appeal.

The Tea House at Park Hive will be open this Saturday afternoon, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice lollies etc. Peter Speakman has kindly donated a bookcase, which we are gradually filling with books for adults and children. Take a book, read it, return it and take a new one!

Saturday is also Worldwide Knit in Public Day, a day to celebrate this wonderful craft. Come and join us with your yarn (knitting or crochet) projects - we will also have yarn and spare needles available. My i-cord maker will be running at full speed, producing cord for the kids to yarn bomb the area……

The forecast is fine, so do come and enjoy our terrace!

Huge thanks to Marion Martin for the donation of this table tennis table. Well done to the team who collected it, manoeuvring it through a tricky space.

Great progress at the Hive today!

Claire Brown kindly lent us her builders, who installed a tap in the Tea House - previously we had to fetch water from the Pavilion - and also put up shelves which were donated by Claire Evans.

This means we can get on with organising the multitude of items we have received so far.

We are still in need of a kitchen worktop measuring 2.26m x 35cm.
We are also still in need of financial support via our Go Fund Me page. Can you spare a fiver?

Are you renovating/have renovated your kitchen? If so do you have a kitchen worktop you could donate to the Park Hive? The dimensions we need are 2.26m long by 35cm wide.

We’re also in need of a push down handle for an internal door.

Do get in touch if you can help!

Thank you Anna, Chengni, and Eli 💚
Absolutely love their painting style! Eli didn’t want to stop, and Anna didn’t even need to put her handbag down before getting stuck in 😄

Meanwhile, I’m always the messiest one — I somehow end up with paint all over my hair every single time 🎨

We will share an update later this week showing the difference your donations have already made to the Hive 💚

That definitely wasn’t the plan… 😊
We only intended to paint a few areas, but thanks to our amazing volunteers we’ve managed to paint more rooms — and it’s looking really good already. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone ( Amy in action 😊) who has given their time, energy, and support to help bring the Hive back to life.

We will be at the Hive today from 13:30 till 16:30 please come visit
