Happy New Year from all the volunteers that oversee the junior section at Nuneaton Golf Club! 🎉 🎈💥⛳️

As we begin the new year we would like to thank Ewan Procter who over recent years has established himself as an exemplary member of our golf club. Ewan has now finished his final year as a junior and junior captain. Ewan now moves into the ‘colt’ ranks at Nuneaton. Ewan had been a junior member for 6 years and it was pleasing for all of us to see him captain our junior team to win the inaugural Warwickshire Junior League Finals Day Championship held this year at Hearsall. Well done to Ewan and all the team - and once again thank you.

Ensuring continuity within the section, Ewan made arrangements for a member of the juniors to take over his role. It is great to announce that Alfie Mitchell has now taken over as Junior Captain and will take over the reigns of leading the junior section in 2023.

We wish you well Alfie leading our section and junior team to further success in 2023! 💪🏻🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Reminder that the golf club’s Annual Presentation Evening is taking place tomorrow evening beginning 7pm. ⛳️ 🥇 🥘 All juniors and family welcome.

The Robert Rock Junior Tour dates are set for next year 👍🏻 Nuneaton hosts on 10th September ⛳️

Apologies but the club has unexpectedly changed the Presentation Evening date at short notice. The new date is Friday 2nd December. Food is included and the evening begins at 7pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well done to Alfie Mitchell who represented the club on Saturday in the Warwickshire Cup. Alfie partnered Tom Lewis in a foursomes (alternate shot) match against a strong Moor Hall team. They won their match comprehensively and the team won in a playoff to move onto the next round against Copt Heath 👏🏻 ⛳️

Congratulations to former Nuneaton Junior Holly Elliott. Mountain East Conference Champions. Holly and her team move on to Regionals. ⛳️ 🔥

Big congratulations to Megan Bickley who finished 2nd in the Girls 9 hole Nett Competition in the Warwickshire Order of Merit Finals at Handsworth GC. Great play Megan 🔥👍🏻⛳️
