Barlestone St Giles Running Club

Yesterday saw Barlestone St Giles record 20 finishes at the Bosworth Half Marathon, their biggest ever club turnout for a League race and, being one of the smallest clubs in the League (if not smallest) accounted for nearly half of their club membership.

A superb show of support! Not many of our clubs would ever be able to boast such a large proportional attendance.

What an amazing day out at the Bosworth Half Marathon, and for once it thankfully wasn't a scorcher. Some really special results and 100% effort from everyone in our team of running mates.
We've come a long way and are so proud of the closely knit team we are today. Go Saints ❤️

What a weekend kicking off our 10th birthday celebrations early. Headling at Market Bosworth Country Park parkrun yesterday and then taking part in Ashby 20 today

Busy day for Team Saints. Big group outing to the Run Leicester Festival with PBs in the half marathon and the 10k Also representatives at the Royal Parks Half Marathon and Cannock Chase 10k. What a way to spend a glorious autumnal morning!

Some of our Couch 2 5k graduates at their first official parkrun today at Market Bosworth Country Park parkrun - what a glorious sunny morning to showcase their smiles and their progress. Super proud of you all. Thank you Heidi for mentoring the group and to all the club members taking up the volunteering spots today to cheer them on!! I think they all enjoyed Annika's celebratory cupcakes at the end too!!
