Reminder that the club AGM is on 6 Feb at 7pm at the Pingles track clubhouse. If you are planning on attending, please book on in the NTC ClubPal so we have an idea of numbers.

Information about the process for appointment of Committee posts at the AGM on 6 February.

These are the Club Officer positions that need to be determined at the AGM:

1) Chair (currently Alistair Quigley who intends to stand for reappointment)

2) Secretary (currently Tess Bishop who intends to stand for reappointment)

3) Treasurer (currently Debra Suffolk who intends to stand for reappointment)

4) Club Welfare Officer (currently Zoe Downes who intends to stand for reappointment)

5) Membership Secretary (currently Andrew Downes who intends to stand for reappointment)

We will not be taking nominations for the post of Junior Coordinator prior to the AGM as that post will be discussed at the AGM. Non-elected Committee Officer positions will be determined by the new Committee after the AGM (as per paragraph 7(c) of the Constitution).

If you wish to nominate yourself for any one of the above positions, the process this year will be the same as last year and is as follows:

You must select two current members, one to propose you and one to second the proposal. Ask each of those two members to send you an email clearly stating which position they are proposing or seconding you for. You must then forward both those emails onto myself, the Club Secretary to arrive no later than 17:00 Sunday 1 February 2025 ([email protected]). I will then confirm back to you that the proposer and seconder emails have been received. If you do not receive confirmation back from the secretary, you should assume that your nomination has not been received. It is your responsibility to ensure that your nomination is received on time.

The proposer and seconder must not email the secretary directly.

Anyone wishing to propose an agenda item for the AGM should send descriptive details of the item to the secretary, at the above email address by 17:00 Sunday 1 February 2025 to enable time for these to be considered and incorporated into the agenda. Questions will also be able to be asked on the night in the AOB section of the agenda.

The NTC Committee looks forward to meeting as many of you as possible on 6 February.

The 2026 IRCS are taking place at Mallory Park on 29th and 30th August 2026

The West Midlands IRC qualifying event is ATW Junior Triathloin 27th June 2026 at Mallory Park

For non-league participants, these are still fabulous events but will just have sone of the top regional juniors attending alongside a wide base of other participants.

As the track is unavailable, we will meet outside the Tennis courts for the briefing and for the start.

Parent involvement is encouraged and new/non-members members are welcome (you will need to complete a non-member form).

Saturday is the second in our trail sessions for this winter - a fab opportunity to build strength and great fun too!

It may be a little muddy and cold (it may even be wet!) - please remember to bring layers (hats, gloves fleeces) and a drink and you might want something waterproof and some spare shoes for getting home :)
