Peg 40 on Meadowlands’ Lambsdown lake today for another Golden Rod qualifier! 🎣💥

4 proper carp at 40m and a couple of small silvers for 39lb 10oz and a thanks for coming 😂 Fed a short line quite agressively hoping it would come good late on, but the flat calm conditions weren’t right for it, with just one lonely skimmer coming from that line.

You gotta put the time and miles in on these types of events to give yourself a chance. Still really enjoyed it as the weather has been lovely, the 4 carp I had were proper ‘uns and the banter has been great! ☀️ Onto the next qualifier at Hallcroft next weekend for another go…
