🎾 A-STAR TENNIS AT NUNEATON LAWN TENNIS CLUB – TRIAL WEEK

We’re excited to get started at Nuneaton Lawn Tennis Club from Monday 7th September!

Our first week will be classed as a TRIAL WEEK, giving everyone the opportunity to get back on court, meet the A-Star coaching team and familiarise themselves with playing again after the summer break — although we know plenty of you have been keeping busy on court!

The trial week will be open to both juniors and adults and will replicate the existing coaching timetable that was running before the summer.

The purpose of the week is simple: to get everyone playing again, meet as many of you as possible and give us a much better picture of numbers and interest across the different sessions.

Once trial week is complete, we’ll be able to formulate the programme and staffing going forward based on the numbers and interest we see throughout the week.

This is just Phase One of A-Star Tennis coming into Nuneaton Lawn Tennis Club. You’ll be getting to know us just as much as we’ll be getting to know you, so please feel free to ask questions, speak to the coaches and give us your feedback.

🎾 Junior Club Championships 2026 🎾

What a fantastic couple of days of tennis at our Junior Club Championships!

We started with our Green Ball players, who all played some excellent tennis while learning how to score full games. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and improvement from everyone. Congratulations to Joshua, who narrowly defeated Ezra in a closely fought final.

In the 14 & Under event, Casey came out on top against Vivaan in a thrilling three-set match.

The 16 & Under and 18 & Under competitions both featured Jesse and Felix battling it out in the finals. Congratulations to Felix, who claimed both titles after two tightly contested matches showcasing some outstanding tennis.

A huge well done to every player who took part. You all demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, determination and a fantastic attitude throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of all of you and look forward to seeing your continued progress on court.
