So nice to come out of the class on Wednesday and it was still light, and warm!

We have had a couple of questions recently on whether we do a beginners class. We don't as such. Anyone can start at any point and we all learn from each other on our journey. We never stop learning.
Feel free to contact for any more information.

Getting warmer. All the better for tai chi practice.

What's Up Docs? - Should you improve your balance? - BBC Sounds 29/04/2026

While stuck in a long traffic queue on Tuesday evening there was a programme on Radio4 called, "Should you improve your balance?"
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002vmdt

The answer of course was yes, but the more they went into why this was so important I kept thinking of tai chi. Then lo and behold the experts and guest suggested tai chi as top of the list to help.

What's Up Docs? - Should you improve your balance? - BBC Sounds Drs Chris and Xand van Tulleken explore how we can improve our balance.

Really good session going over the 10 form in detail last night. The 10 form is interesting in that it has almost perfect symmetry, in that a move you do on the right you repeat on the left, and it utilises all the common movements in tai chi in a compact practice space.

Okay. According to me Spring has officially started with my fountain on, a bit of weeding, and my first tai chi practice in the garden 😁

Another great session at tai chi last night. Definitely getting warmer, all we wish for now is to leave while it's still light 😁.

We still have a couple of starter places available if interested.

Our most recent joiners are now well into their tai chi practice and this has made some new starter places available.

If you would like to start learning tai chi please contact via the page or the website contact form and we will be happy to answer any questions.😀
