Age Grade Honours for Nuneaton Colts 🔴⚪️🔵

Kyran collected his Warwickshire U18s tie, the others represented Warwickshire U17s yesterday at Coventry Rugby Club against East Midlands. While the result didn’t go our way, 2 of the 3 tries scored were by Farmer and Friswell 👏 🔴⚪️⚫️

A huge congratulations to Callum, Harry and Jo, who all represented Warwickshire RFU Age Grade Rugby Colts this weekend.

Brilliant recognition for three hardworking Colts who continue to fly the flag for Nuneaton Rugby Club.

Despite the amazing weekend performance and results in Leicester by the U16 Jaguars, the team desperately needs to address is lack of numbers in 2026 to continue on their season journey.

So here's your INVITATION to pop along and try out a new sport at Nuneaton Rugby Club on a Saturday 9 May and/or 23 May 1130-1330.

You'll need to be 13 years of age and no older than school year 11.

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟‑𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘: 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝟯𝟵 – 𝟱𝟳 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗻

Our final game of the season, and one we’d all been looking forward to, delivered everything we hoped for. Nuneaton v Keresley, with old teammates facing each other on opposite sides, sunshine overhead, and a brilliant atmosphere around the ground.

Keresley hosted superbly, with great entertainment, good food and drink, and a backdrop of important promotion battles across the club.

The game started with real intensity, Keresley striking first before the Nuns hit back with a converted score. That set the tone for a fierce first half: big tackles, hard running, and end‑to‑end rugby in the heat. Keresley edged the lead at the break, but it was still all to play for.

The second half continued in the same vein, both sides trading blows and defending with real commitment. But in the final 15 minutes, the Nuns found another gear. Through relentless teamwork and some outstanding individual moments, Nuneaton pulled away to secure a 39–57 win.

That result confirms 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. A fantastic achievement, well done lads 🔴⚪️⚫️
