Pre-season is in full swing, lads are working harder than ever. Looking really sharp and focused.

🏆 March Round up / Player of the Month Award 🏆

The best month of the season by a country mile is how to describe March. Great performances, top results, players playing at their best and loads of enjoyable moments too. The tightness and togetherness of the squad has shone through recently, playing against top sides and grinding out results, helping us pick up 16 points from 8 games across the month, including an unbeaten run in the MJPL for March firing us up the table. There is a lot of confidence in the squad right now and I hope that remains for the final few games of the season. Well done Masters 👏

Player of the Month for March🏆 - Oli Downes

Oli had an amazing month that's been building up for a few months. He's mainly been a reliable centre back for the team for a few years now, but changing team shape and formation has saw Oli learn how to play as a right wing back. It took a little while to learn this new role but he stuck at it and from around January has been getting better each game, which in March saw consistently top performances. He hasn't put a foot wrong, great timing in his tackles, strong, wants to be on the ball ahead of his opponent, learnt a new way of marking players and how to work the wide space to bring us a little further up the pitch in his new role. Really great month and fully deserved, well done Oli.👍💪👏

🏆 February Round up / Player of the Month Award 🏆

It was great to get many more games played this month, it really helped get the team into a good rhythm of play. The football we have been playing has been exceptional, it's been great to see so much of what the lads try on the training pitch convey over to match days. They are building really good momentum right now and I'm excited for the run in now to the end of the season. We are getting players back from injury and gaining match fitness, which is helping the squad a lot. A really good month for the Masters.

Player of the Month for February 🏆 - Archie

Archie has had a storming February. He has worked his socks off for the team through all the fixtures. What has really stood out for me has been how versatile he has been for us and with an attitude that is never negative. He's probably played almost every position on the pitch and there has been many times where we have looked to Archie in a game, called him to one side and said play here or play there or do a particular job for the team and he does it without question. His football has also really improved, with more awareness of what's around him on the pitch, finding better options and making better decisions. Well done Archie, fully deserved award. 👍💪👏

🏆 January Round up / Player of the Month Award 🏆

Just the three fixtures survived the weather last month. All the games were against strong opposition, playing in the top divisions there are no so-called easy games. Everyone at this level wants to compete and win, so we must be at our best all the time. Most games are decided on a single goal either way. I really enjoyed the football we played last month, finding the passes and spaces to play into.

Player of the Month for January 🏆 - Will

As mentioned above, we play at the top level against very good oppositions, meaning you can spend periods off games with our backs against the wall and the only way out is to never give up, keep plugging away and help your teammates to get back into the game. Will has shown this in bucket loads, he never gives up and is always staying positive, believing that his hard work will pay off for him and the team. A very consistent player that never gives up and gives 110% to the team. Well done Will, very deserved award. 👍💪👏

🏆 December Round up / Player of the Month Award 🏆

Only the three games played in December, but we finished the year very strong. Two wins and a draw left the lads seeing out 2024 on a 5 x match unbeaten run. The most pleasing thing though is all players starting to dig in together and showing a great team spirit, which has saw three clean sheets from these last five matches. The lads work very hard in training so it's great to see them getting results on the pitch for their efforts.

Player of the Month for December 🏆 - Jamie

Jamie was consistently on form for all three games. After suffering an arm break in the summer leaving him with no pre-season meant Jamie was playing catch up from the start of the season. He has worked very hard to get back to fitness and December saw Jamie back to the player we know. Covering so much of the pitch and breaking down so many of the oppositions attacks is a huge factor and no coincidence that the team is now seeing an increase in clean sheets. When the team needs a lift, he is there to lead by example. Well done Jamie, very deserved.👍💪👏

No games thus far in January due to the weather but we are ready to go when the games begin. 💙
