An amazing weekend of team racing at
Ripon Sailing Club thanks for having us. Thank you to all the clubs who loaned boats to make the event work and a massive thank you to the army of volunteers who made it happen.

Big shout out to Leeds University Sailing Club who did the catering and York University Sailing and Windsurfing Club who helped with the coaching and umpiring.

Additional thanks to KSail for their continued scheduling and event support and thank you to Rooster for the prize support.

Racing underway at Ripon SC for the North Region Y&J Team Racing champs. A brisk wind and the race team is cracking through the races. Big grins and lots of learning with the coaches busy helping upskill the less experienced. Loads of really good racing already. They’ve finished! Congratulations to NEYYSA and Leeds University Sailing Club and all the other teams who participated. Great effort and a fab weekend. Thank you to all the shore crew and the great team effort all round. The boats are loaded ready for the trip home after the prizegiving. We’ll post a link to all the photos later.

A sunny and windy sail for our sailors at Sunderland on Saturday. Only one race because it was so windy!! A huge thank to Sunderland for hosting, the race committee, the safety team and Gail for the food!! Next event at Covenham Sailing Club on the 26th September!! Sunderland Yacht Club RYA East
