We’re launching a new Foundation Football session for boys & girls aged 4–6, delivered by MN Football Coaching at Greetham Community Centre.

These fun, age-appropriate sessions focus on:
✔ Confidence building
✔ Learning through play
✔ Enjoying football in a friendly environment

📍 Greetham Community Centre
📅 Starting Sunday 8th March (every other Sunday)
⏰ 10:30am – 11:15am
💷 £7 per session

⚽Wednesday evening was a special one for me personally.⚽

I played in a pre-season friendly and lined up against three players I coached when they were just 4–6 years old at YoungStars. Now, here they are stepping into men’s football — taller, stronger, and more confident, but still carrying that same passion for the game I remember from those early sessions 😀

To share the pitch with them was something truly special. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Being even a small part of someone’s footballing journey is a privilege I’ll never take for granted 🙂

To those lads — keep going, keep enjoying it, and I wish you every success as you step into this next chapter. Proud of you 👏⚽

This May half term, I’ll be running Small Group Coaching Sessions – giving players a chance to learn, play, and improve alongside others in a fun and focused environment!

📅 Thursday 29th May
📍 Greetham Community Centre
💰 £10 per player
⏳ Each session is 1 hour
🎯 Spaces are limited – first come, first served!

🕚 Session Times:
👶 4–6 year olds – 11:00am
⚽️ 7–9 year olds – 12:30pm
🔥 10–12 year olds – 2:00pm

These sessions are perfect for players who want to boost their skills, build confidence, and most importantly – have loads of fun!

⚽ Young Stars – One of Many Experiences That Shaped Me as a Coach ⚽

Looking back, one of the most important parts of my coaching journey started with 'Young Stars'—a football coaching group for 4-6-year-olds. At that age, it wasn’t about tactics or competition; it was all about fun, building confidence, and simply enjoying having a ball at their feet 🤗

What I didn’t realize at the time was just how much I would learn. Watching kids go from just figuring out how to kick a ball to becoming players with real footballing knowledge was incredible. In fact, I learnt so much from them—the way they saw the game, their creativity, their excitement 😃

Young Stars was a huge stepping stone for me, helping me develop as a coach and ultimately leading to an amazing opportunity to coach at a Premier League club. But one of the biggest influences during this time was Harry, the coach who started Young Stars alongside me. He taught me so much in those early days, helping me build my confidence as a coach. When he eventually stepped away, it was a huge moment for me—I had to take everything I had learned and step up. But that experience allowed me to pass on my own knowledge to other coaches, just as Harry had done for me 🙂

One of the things I’m most proud of is how those kids stuck together. Their parents saw the potential and formed a local team for them once they turned 7, allowing them to continue their footballing journey 😁

Congratulations to our Young Star of the session this week..............Jax Lambie.

It was Jax 1st session with us this week and he got stuck in right from the off. Playing against older children did not stop him at all. He bagged himself a goal or 2 and was happy throughout the session.
