Strength training isnt just great to help reduce the risk of injuries and keeping you moving as you get older.
It is also associated with a reduced risk of all-cause mortality by 15% , Cardio vascular disease mortality by 19%, and cancer-specific mortality by 14%
Its also shown those who lift weights have up to 30% lower inflammation levels, potentially helping people with chronic pain.
Anyone looking to get into weight training should build up slowly over time, but consistency is the biggest factor!!

There are no perfect postures...
Kids know this already... do you? 🤔
The best posture is your next posture
Every posture is going to be painful, when you stay in that position for too long. Try sitting in a "perfect" posture for 10 hours.
Stillness causes stiffness not posture or sitting position!

💥 If sciatica was dangerous, movement would be banned.
❌ Rest forever
❌ Avoid everything
❌ Fear every step
But that’s not what science shows.
🔑 Motion helps nerves recover.
🔑 Strength supports healing.
🔑 Smart movement builds confidence again.
Avoidance feeds pain. Movement breaks it.
Want to learn how to fix your sciatica for life?

☠️ SITTING ☠️
I’m seeing the reemergence of people saying sitting will kill you!
As much as I understand their motives for this message to help encourage people to move more… it’s just not true
And I don’t think it helps motivate or educate those of us who have to sit a lot for work or travelling for work
And the data clearly shows that sitting isn’t the devil or the thing that negatively affects you… it’s the not exercising that does!
So if you sit a lot, make sure you move a bit to counter it!
And it seems 8 hours of sitting needs about 1 hour of moderate activity
Which isn’t that unattainable for most

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, or HBOT as it is commonly known is a non-invasive, painless therapy, which involves sitting in a chamber and breathing oxygen in a pressurised environment, it is a drug-free, non-invasive therapy used around the world for medical, wellness and sports-related concerns, to help support the body and mind.
Benefits of HBOT
· Sports-related injuries: Athletes use hyperbaric chambers to recover more quickly from sprains, strains, and muscle fatigue, as the therapy promotes efficient healing and reduces downtime.
· Non-healing wounds: has been shown to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, a process known as angiogenesis, which can aid in wound healing and tissue repair
· Certain infections: Particularly severe or anaerobic infections, such as those caused by bacteria that thrive in low oxygen environments, can be combated with high-dose oxygen, strengthening the immune response and inhibiting the growth of harmful microbes.
· Radiation injuries: Individuals who have experienced tissue damage due to radiation therapy can find relief, as hyperbaric oxygen helps regenerate healthy cells and lessen pain or inflammation.
· HBOT can be used in the management of body inflammation, such as that which is seen in long COVID, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as other inflammatory medical conditions.
· Overall wellbeing: Those with chronic health concerns or seeking a general boost in wellness may benefit from the improved circulation, enhanced immune function, and increased energy that come with regular sessions.
