Summer Sensations 2026 (Important Information) ☀️🌟

If you have not yet signed up for this year's event, Active Schools have re-opened the Eventbrite link until 2pm today (5th August) - It had been closed due to the original deadline being the beginning of July.

Please e-mail [email protected] to receive the link. Please note that if you are later than the 2pm deadline, the only way you will be able to sign your child up to Summer Sensations is to attend with them tomorrow morning, and sign them up manually in Atlantis Leisure at 9am.

Thursday 6th August will be held in Atlantis Leisure & Friday 7th August will be held at Oban High School. Children should be there at 9am both days, when our sign in/sign up process for the day will begin.

Pick-up for both days will be between 3:30pm & 4pm. Lunch is not supplied either day, so children should bring a packed lunch. If your child is planning on signing up to one of the sessions that may require a change of clothes (Coasteering also requires a pair of spare, old trainers) then please ensure they have these with them.

We anticipate a busy event as always, and we look forward to welcoming around 200 of the new P7+S1 children for 'The Best 2 Days of the Summer'.

Due to high demand we've opened up more spaces in P1-3 Camp for tomorrow! (Wednesday 5th August)

Spaces are available to book via our website or by calling reception on 01631 566800. Payment required at time of booking.

Primary ages are for pre- summer holidays- for example if your child is in P3, going into P4 they can only go the P1-P3 camp.

❗Camp Cancellation Policy❗
If the camp is full, bookings cancelled after 5pm the day before said booking, will be charged at full price, unless the space can be allocated to another child.

A waiting list option is available - we'd encourage anyone looking to book a space to join the waiting list if a camp is showing as fully booked.

Our Main Pool has now re-opened

We are heading into the penultimate week of the summer holidays and this week, the schedule looks a little different.
𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 we have our Pre-school and Primary age Gymnastics classes.
𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 and 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 both our P1- P3 Camp and P4- P7 Camps are running.
Spaces are available in all camps with the exception of Pre-school Gymnastics.
𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 and 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 is Summer Sensations, the P6/P7 transition event. All sign ups and information for this has gone out via schools and Eventbrite. Just a reminder that 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 is at Atlantis Leisure and 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 is Oban High School.

We're making a splash with Summer Sensations this weekend at for Super Saturday!

Summer Sensations has partnered with Re_Store to be their chosen charity for Super Saturday on 1st August - this means half the proceeds of sales tomorrow go to the Summer Sensations committee to continue their incredible programme.

Organized in collaboration with Oban Youth Cafe Project , LiveArgyll , Hope2Oban , Hebridean Pursuits Outdoor Learning , Oban High School school and Atlantis Leisure, Summer Sensations is a FREE two day fun-filled programme at the end of summer for P6 and 7 students making the transition to Oban High School. This year's programme will take place on the 6th and 7th of August across Atlantis Leisure and Oban High School.

From coasteering and bike skills to board games and arts and crafts, there's activities for everyone.
