5 week tidy up - complete ā
Hereās what I changed (and how you can do similar) š
- Swapped normal milk for almond/coconut milk
- Reduced oats from 100g to 75g at breakfast
- Increased protein at lunch/dinner (200g chicken rather than 150g)
- Reduced rice from 100g to 75g at lunch
- Less fat at breakfast - ditched the nuts and added more fruit
- Chose more filling carb sources 90% of the time (mostly rice/potato)
- Snacked less during the day
- Still had a pack of crisps most nights
- Still had a flat white every day
- Still enjoyed a pizza most weekends
As always, itās not been about extremes or cutting anything outā¦
Just smarter choices and a more structured approach.
So if youāre looking to get back into shape and push your performance,
Without giving up the foods/drinks you love?
Remember you donāt need to be perfect,
You just need a plan you can actually stick to š«”
Iād probably keep pushing for another few weeks,
But with Nice on Monday?
The goal now switches to maintaining while awayā¦
While fully enjoying an almond croissant or two š«š·

Thereās a time and a place for everything.
Thereās times to tighten up your diet, train more, and potentially verge on the edge of being a little obsessive with what youāre doingā¦
And thereās also times you should be okay with letting loose without stressing so much about how strict you are (or arenāt) being.
I could give you numerous examples of times iāve done both
But most of the time?
The 90/10 balance is where I try to live, and funnilly enough?
Itās usually where I feel my best š¤
Ps: I opt for 90/10 over 80/20ā¦the key is finding what works for you.

Keep saying āIāll start next week? You wonāt (hereās why) š
Harris came to me feeling far from himself.
Not massively out of shape, not completely unfitā¦
Yet knowing he had more to give.
However, time was tight.
A shoulder injury meant he was struggling to adapt training,
And every week, he found himself in the same old cycleā¦
Putting things off. Procrastinating.
Second guessing what he was doing in the gym.
And deep down? He worried that if he didnāt take control of it now,
It might be too late.
But once we got the ball rolling, things changed.
He realised that it wasnāt motivation he was lacking..
It was structure. A clear plan to follow.
A system that removed that guesswork.
Because now?
Heās confident in his physique.
Pushing himself week in, week out.
Back repping out chin-ups in the gym.
Feeling fitter than ever on the pitch.
He even smashed out a 5K PB after a cancelled shinty game.
But most importantlyā¦
Heās back feeling like himself again š
So if youāre in that same position right now,
And you know youāve got more to giveā¦
DM me ā90ā and lets see if I can help.

āIāve got a holiday coming up so iām not sure I can commitā¦ā
Okay, letās play this out.
Youāve got a holiday of 7 days, maybe 10. 14 at most
(You lucky devil you) š¤£
Lets say you sign up for 90 days, that leaves you 80 days,
76 absolute worst case. And letās be honestā¦
This alone is enough to make some serious changes.
To be back feeling fitter than ever on the pitch,
Repping out pull-ups, running PBās,
And ensuring youāve got a strong, fit, athletic body..
Meaning you can whip off your top with confidence come summer š
Yet youāre writing off all the aboveā¦
Because you canāt be perfect for a week or so?
Not on my watch mon amis š
āāļø
See, the problem isnāt the holidayā¦itās your approach.
Youāre telling yourself you need to be perfect to see results,
But thereās never going to be the āperfect timeā.
And you can put it off and wait for perfect conditions,
Or you can have a plan that works around your life..
And finally gives you the body and fitness you wantā¦
The only difference lies in the story youāre telling yourself š
Ps: Rome - highly recommendedā¦
Especially when youāre front of the que to meet the āpapaaaā 30 mins in š¤š¤£

Spend your money on what you want.
But remember for everything you say yes to,
Thereās something youāre also saying no to.
And by no means am I saying you need to be investing in coaching (it comes down to what you value and whats important to you)
But what I am saying?
Is that investing in myself is something iāve never regretted..
And always something I wish iād done sooner.
Ps: To doās in the flat mostly include fixing my p**s poor DIY skillsā¦volunteers welcomed š«
