And finally, thanks to all of you. All of you who are crazy enough to attempt this race, those of you who are even crazier and finish it, all of the families and friends, and all the spectators and supporters. This weekend would be rather dull without all of you showing up. Let’s do it again next year, shall we? Say weekend of 14 May? And in the meantime, see you at the ceilidh on 30 January!

We are eternally grateful for everyone at the , , , all the other patches along the west coast of Scotland. And for all the folk and . Not just during the race, but as islanders ourselves, we understand how vital all of you are. Having said that, we do slightly prefer the years where we don’t see any of you. Nothing personal! 🤣

An especially huge thank you to all the fine (and endlessly patient) people at Troon Yacht Haven and . You have no idea the amount of chaos we cause for them… we don’t either, we only see a fraction of it! And yet they welcome us back every year with smiling faces. You are, and always will be, our very favourite finish line.
