What an incredible year it has been for Okehampton RFC Women- winning our third consecutive league title, reaching the semi-finals of the Intermediate Plate, and most recently being crowned RFU Injured Players Foundation Tournament winners at Twickenham! 🏆

This team continues to grow, improve and make history year after year- and we’re so excited to see where the coming season takes us.

As we prepare for another exciting season being newly promoted to Women’s Championship South West 2, we’re welcoming both new and experienced players to join the squad at Okehampton RFC Women.

Whether you’re completely new to rugby, looking for a change of club colours, or returning to the game after time away- there’s a place for you here!

Alongside our senior squad, we also run a development team designed to help newer players gain confidence, experience, and valuable match time, with plenty of fixtures planned throughout the season.

No matter your experience level, there’s something for everyone at Okehampton Women💪

Our team is a rugby family and we are so incredibly lucky to also have lots of the same family members playing for both us, and the senior & junior teams aswell! 💛

Last night, some of the team got together at Brothers Restaurant in Okehampton to celebrate our recent success at Twickenham and what has been another incredible season for Okehampton Women.

A huge thank you to everyone at Brothers for their continued support over the past few seasons, your generosity and backing of the team is greatly appreciated 💛

The food, atmosphere and hospitality were fantastic as always, making it the perfect place to celebrate a memorable year!

If you haven’t visited yet, we can’t recommend it highly enough- you certainly won’t be disappointed! 👏🍴

After another outstanding season for the team here’s some of the stats from the year!

A huge highlight has been the spread of try scorers across the squad, with 19 different players crossing the line and combining for an impressive 96 tries this season! 🔥

While the stats may suggest the backs claimed most of the glory, those tries are built on the relentless work of our forwards. Their effort, physicality, and dominance up front created the platform and space for our electric backline to do what they do best and light up the scoreboard.

A true team effort and a season to be proud of 💛
