Supporting women through perimenopause & menopause Practical tools for calm and balance
😜 😂 😝
If only it were that simple!
🥰 Three-part breath is one of my favourite ways to soften stress and help the body settle. This is so important, especially during perimenopause and menopause, when everything can feel a little more intense than usual.
This gentle breathing technique can help calm the nervous system, ease tension, and create a sense of grounding when you need it most.
If you are navigating hot flushes, anxiety, overwhelm, or those restless nights, this simple breath can be a beautiful tool to help you come back to yourself.
Breathe with me 🥰🧘🏽♂️
You are not alone in this journey.
✨ Sa Ta Na Ma is more than just a mantra—it’s a meditation that can help bring calm, clarity, and balance when life (and menopause!) feels overwhelming.
Each syllable represents a different stage of the cycle of life:
🌱 Sa – Birth, beginnings, and infinite possibility.
🌿 Ta – Life, growth, and creativity.
🍂 Na – Transformation, change, and letting go.
✨ Ma – Rebirth, renewal, and wisdom.
As you repeat these sounds, you’re connecting with the natural rhythm of life—reminding yourself that change is not something to fear but something to move through with grace.
For many women navigating menopause, this practice can feel deeply grounding, helping to quiet mental chatter, ease stress, and support greater clarity and focus.
Take a few moments today to breathe, chant, and reconnect with yourself. Your mind, body, and spirit will thank you. 💛
Have you tried the Sa Ta Na Ma meditation before? Let me know how it feels in the comments.

Peppermint Hydrosol for Gentle Comfort During the Heatwave🥵
Hot weather can make menopause symptoms feel more intense, especially hot flushes and that sudden rush of warmth through the body.
A gentle option many women enjoy is peppermint hydrosol — a soft plant water that offers a light, refreshing sensation without the strength of essential oils. 🪭
A simple spritz on the neck, chest or pulse points can feel soothing and help you feel a little more comfortable during a flush or on very warm days. It’s mild, calming and generally well‑tolerated, making it a lovely companion in hot weather.
Small moments of comfort matter — especially when the heat is overwhelming.
Be gentle with yourself this week!
Please note:
Everyone’s skin is different, so it’s wise to do a small patch test first.
And if you’re taking medication or have any health conditions, it’s best to check with your doctor before trying new aromatherapy products, even gentle ones like hydrosols.

Myth about Menopause: You can reverse it naturally.
Truth: Menopause is a natural and irreversible stage of life. Once your body stops producing certain hormones, it will not produce them again.
Lifestyle choices and complementary therapies can support comfort, relaxation, and overall wellbeing — but they don’t reverse menopause or bring hormones back naturally.
When we understand this, we can move away from chasing “cures” and instead focus on informed, supportive self-care.
✨ If you’re curious about reflexology, massage, or other gentle therapies to support your wellbeing, feel free to message me.

Myth about Menopause: “It will pass.”
Truth: Menopause is permanent. Once your body stops producing certain hormones, it won’t produce them again.
Even if some women don’t experience obvious symptoms, their bodies are still hormonally depleted — and that’s a lifelong change.
Understanding this helps us approach menopause with knowledge, self-care, and compassion for our changing bodies. 🥰

😢 If menopause feels harder than you expected… 😢
Menopause affects your hormones — and hormones play a role in almost every system in the body.
So when they change, you might notice changes in:
• sleep
• mood and emotions
• energy
• focus and memory
• muscles and joints
• stress and anxiety
• balance and concentration
You’re not weak.
You’re not broken.
You’re not imagining it.
Your body is changing — and it needs kinder care, not more pushing.

🥰 Welcome to Menopause Self-Care with Eve 🥰
Hello and welcome! I'm Eve, a Yoga teacher and complementary therapist, and I created this space for women who are moving through perimenopause and menopause and realising… things feel different now.
If you’re feeling:
more tired than you used to be
anxious, emotional, or overwhelmed
itchy, stiff, achy, or disconnected from your body
not sleeping well
or just thinking “Why does no one talk about this properly?”
Please know this: you’re not broken, and you’re not alone!
Menopause isn’t something to “push through.”
It’s a time when your body is asking for softer support, kinder movement, deeper rest, and nervous-system care — not more pressure.
On this page, I’ll be sharing:
🌿 gentle yoga and movement
🌿 breathing practices to calm the mind and body
🌿 simple self-care tools you can actually fit into your day
🌿 emotional support and honest conversations about menopause
This is a safe, compassionate space — no judgement, no extremes, no overwhelm.
💬 I’d love to know: what has been the hardest part of menopause for you so far?
You can comment or just read quietly — both are welcome here.
You’re in the right place 🥰
With love,
Eve x
