Big thank you to everyone that came out and supported Lydford fair yesterday, despite the weather the turn out was great, the day was a huge success, super well organised and jam packed with entertainment and great stalls. A HUGE thank you to each and every one of our volunteers some who worked all year on the organisation, some even working the whole day and evening to ensure the day was a success, and that everyone was well fed and watered. Lydford fair is well underway- come along and enjoy the show!

Lydford Summer fair is on the 5th July, this community run event will be raising much needed funds for Lydford Sports field and playground repairs.
Falconry is back again as is the Vikings!

Don’t forget to pop down to the field this Saturday 17th August. ☀️

We have received a number of complaints about dog mess not being picked up by dog walkers on the sports field.

The field is used by local children every Saturday for football and the play park there is used regularly.

It is becoming a regular issue now.
We remind dog walkers of their responsibility to clear up after their dogs. It is a finable offence and we will have to take action if the problem continues.
