Our final day of summer school brought rehearsals, face paint, photoshoots and more rehearsals prior to our final showcase 🤩

They went out with an almighty ROAR of applause! 👏🏻

Day 1 of the 2026 FOOTsteps was packed full of Singing, Dancing, Games and Craft! 🤩

We are excited for tomorrow as we continue to put together our final showcase inspired by The Lion King! 🦁👑

Huge shout out to one of our senior dancers Emily who was awarded a scholarship for this week’s Summer School with the prestigious London Contemporary Dance School based at The Place. 🤩

Not only does Emily dance each week with FOOTsteps but is studying for her L3 Dance Diploma at Exeter College AND a member of the Swindon Dance CAT Exeter Contemporary Programme 🧑‍🩰

We cannot wait to see all the exciting things you’ve learnt!

💜💚Summer Zumba Timetable 💚💜

Are you a regular shimmy and shaker with FOOTsteps, wanting to keep fit over the summer break or looking to try something new? 🤔

Good news - Miss April will be continuing weekly Zumba classes over the summer holidays! 🎉

👉Classes held in the hall at the back of Fairplace Church, Okehampton (opposite the Post Office)
👉No experience required, Zumba is a follow along dance fitness class inspired by Latin and Worldwide rhythms
👉Pay as you Go at £5.50 per session
👉 Classes aimed at Adults (14yrs plus welcome with parental consent)

Twice weekly classes will resume week commencing 7th September.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Golden themed 2026 Tavistock Carnival. You were AMAZING 🤩!

We had a ‘Lovely Day’ despite the sudden downpour and got everyone ‘Walking on Sunshine’. ☀️

Thank you for staying positive and dancing your socks off! As always you brought lots of smiles, sparkle and did FOOTsteps proud 🫶🏻

FOOTsteps School of Dance is officially out for Summer 😎

Our Mini’s shone like the superstars they are during their show inspired by some of their favourite characters at the weekend! 🤩

These sparkles, who represent our newest and youngest dancers here at FOOTsteps took to the stage at Belstone Village Hall on Sunday.

Our biggest wish for them is to have fun and grown in confidence.

Miss April, Miss Clare and Miss Mandy could not be prouder of how well they did both on stage and backstage 🥰💫
