Maaz delivered a sensational performance in the final, producing a match-winning display to help AJK Volleyball Club lift the tournament trophy. His outstanding skill, determination, and composure under pressure made all the difference.

Nazakat Ali is one of Azad Kashmir’s most accomplished volleyball players, earning selection for the Pakistan National Junior Volleyball Team in 1996—becoming one of the first players from Azad Kashmir to achieve this honour. He went on to represent Punjab at the Pakistan National Games and played in multiple Pakistan National Championships, representing prestigious teams including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Railways, and the Azad Kashmir (AJK) Team. He later continued promoting volleyball after moving to the UK.

Nazakat Ali attended (all the way from Oxford) the Syed Azam Hussain Shah Memorial Tournament – Oldham 2026 as a special guest to pay tribute to his close friend, the late Syed Azam Hussain Shah, in whose memory the tournament was organised.
