And that’s it - Another comp season over and done.
What a way to finish this season! I am honestly so proud of all our dancers who competed this weekend. The talent in that room was insane and seeing you all up there holding your own was amazing!
We had some absolutely amazing results!! 💖
But what I value more than that is how I watched you all support each other, make memories together and allowed yourselves to be the individual humans we all are, we all have our own ways of doing things and learning how to deal with certain situations is such a fabulous lesson that you will carry with you all the way through life.
The times someone didn’t get through and another team member wouldn’t say anything but they’d just come and sit next to them 🥰
For some of our older dancers they’ve decided that now is the time to hang up their competing dance shoes to focus on GCSE’s/College/Life ect. Watching you perform this weekend knowing it may have been your last was so emotional for me! A lot of you have been with us for such a long time and now you’ve made that decision I fully support you and back you 100%. Just so glad you’re all still continuing your dancing journeys with us because otherwise this weekend I’d have been such a blubbering mess. 😭
Hope you all enjoyed the weekend, memories always mean more than any trophy!
Now for me to take a 2 week ‘rest’ to give us time to prepare for our next comp season!!
