So lovely seeing different teams old and new come together to celebrate the sport Casey loved!

It was so lovely to see old and new cheerleaders and AF come together last night to remember Casey and celebrate the sport she loved so very much. The night really wasn’t the same without Casey and she was extremely missed. However it was lovely to have the opportunity to hear everyone’s memories of Casey and celebrate the amazing person she was. Casey was the kindest soul and would of loved being able to celebrate everybody’s accomplishments within the team so it only felt right that we continued with awards. From 2022 we have now introduced the Casey Clarke Emerald Award in memory of Casey and it was a huge honour to be able to present this last night 💚 Once an emerald always an emerald 💚

It is with complete devastation that we are writing this post. Our beautiful Co Captain Casey lost her battle to cancer last night. She was surrounded by both her mum and dad who we would like to wish our biggest condolences to. Casey had the kindest personality and her smile truly lit up a room. As an emerald Casey devoted her entire time at university to cheer and was loved truly by us all. She had the kindest heart and went out of her way to make everyone around her smile, not to mention her witty humour. Words cant express just how much Casey will be missed by us all. A beautiful girl who we were all so privileged to meet.
