Iain and I (Jackie) are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to support the Leeds Adult Transplant Sport Team.

After his life-saving transplant 12 years ago, this amazing group helped rebuild his strength, confidence, and love of sport — and supported our family too. Since then, they’ve helped over 100 transplant recipients do the same.

Now it’s our turn to give back and help future recipients experience the full, active life that transplant has made possible.

Slight twist… Iain is actually a discus thrower, not a runner — so 13.1 miles is a BIG challenge.

This is also a celebration of organ donors and their families, who make second chances possible.

URGENT - Training sessions cancelled

We've been informed that the pool is currently closed due to an issue with the boilers, and as such training will be cancelled on the following days:

Thursday 5th February
Sunday 8th February
Monday 9th February

We will send an update next week when we know any more information and if any more sessions will need to be cancelled.
