With one of England's finest links courses hosting golf's oldest major, it's a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the game and be inspired by the very best.

Here in Lancashire, we're proud of our own rich golfing heritage and the incredible clubs that continue to grow and support the game across the county.

🏆 Congratulations to our Lancashire Girls' County Champion, Yazmyn Shaw! ⛳

A fantastic performance from Yazmyn Shaw, who has been crowned Lancashire Girls' County Champion.

This is a brilliant achievement and a testament to her dedication, skill, and hard work. Everyone at Lancashire Golf extends their congratulations on a well-deserved victory.

Well played to all of the competitors who took part, and thank you to everyone who helped make the championship such a success.

Oliver Coleman wins at the Northern Counties!

Ollie shot a fantastic 5 under par total for two rounds to win the individual trophy, which features some fantastic names on it such as Tommy Fleetwood.

Ollie composed himself well in the afternoon to deal with the difficult undulating greens at Brancepeth castle and follow up his 4 under par morning round with another sub par 18 holes. As well as the trophy, he now gets an automatic entry into the Carris Trophy.

We wish him, and all our boys playing in the Carris, the very best of luck.

🏆 What a fantastic day at the Lancashire Golf Girls' Championship yesterday!

Ormskirk Golf Club played host to another brilliant day of county golf, with some outstanding talent on display and fantastic support throughout.

A huge thank you to Ormskirk Golf Club and to all the players, volunteers, officials, and supporters who helped make the championship such a success.

Congratulations to everyone who took part—we hope you enjoyed a memorable day of golf!

The Lancashire Boys Team is set and ready for tomorrow’s Northern Counties Qualifier at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club.

Good luck to the squad as they compete for a spot in the National County Finals!

Lancashire Golf is hosting an exclusive seminar for Lancashire clubs only on Wednesday 12th August at Ashton-in-Makerfield GC, in partnership with Kevin Fish (CCL).

Kevin Fish CCM brings over 25 years of experience across the private club industry. A former Club Manager of the Year, he has worked with Scottish Golf, helped develop the MDP education pathway, and trained over 2,000 managers and volunteers through CMAE. He is also a regular speaker at the World Conference of Club Management and now leads Contemporary Club Leadership, specialising in recruitment, consultancy, and training for private member clubs.

This practical workshop is designed for Chairmen, Captains, and General Managers to strengthen leadership, improve communication, and build more effective working relationships within the club.
