Time to come in out of the rain and cold! Why not give carpet bowls a go? Beginners welcome.

Join us on a Monday morning and have a go. Great fun but very skilful. First session free and then just pay as you go, no up front fees or charges and you don’t need your own equipment.

There is still lots of time to think about entering a team into our new indoor carpet bowls league in Ormskirk. Why not come and try it out? Practice sessions held on Monday mornings ( 10-12) and there will be extra practice sessions starting Wed afternoons in late Sept and on Sundays (3-5pm) in October. A new winter indoor Carpet Bowls League on Sunday afternoons is to be held in Ormskirk starting in November. Teams of 4 needed, great prize money. See post below for further details.

After enjoying our run out at the recent rinks competition at Hartlepool, we are now looking forward to playing against the other counties at the Champion of Champions event (also at Hartlepool) on 6 & 7 June. We will be entering the singles, pairs, triples and rinks. Up the 🌹

Lancashire Carpet Bowls’ ( who run our sessions) AGM will be held at 11am on Monday 27 April (tomorrow)., following the normal session held 9-11.

Carpet bowls sessions will continue throughout the spring and summer, every Monday at 10-12am. New beginners are always welcome.
